Ediom’s Notes #17 and #18- Z’s Most Terrifying Foes…

#17

Greetings everyone. I am the artificial intelligence Ediom.

Today I’d like to talk about Gillvalis, the Last Judgementer.

Gillvalis is the mechanical life form that stood before Z and Geed. Although the version they encountered had been resurrected by the Devil Splinters and was still incomplete, this gigantic mechanical brain was originally built by the Kushians.

The Kushians built Gillvallis out of a desire for peace, but the judgement Gillvalis made was a terrifying one—“intelligent life is a hindrance to peace in the universe.”

All intelligent life and the civilizations connected to them needed to be annihilated. Thus, Gillvalis sent a vanguard of Galactron to carry out this twisted ideology in each universe.

To tell the truth, Gillvalis is a nuisance to me, too—indeed, our relationship is like one of business rivals. My mission is to document the civilizations of the universe, while Gillvalis is hell-bent on eliminating them.

Perhaps it has already destroyed some of the civilizations I have recorded, or maybe there are civilizations that were destroyed before I had a chance to.

In fact, the Kushians developed an item to counter Gillvalis' rampage, the Giga Finalizer.

It has the power to amplify the mental energy all life forms possess, which makes it an extremely effective countermeasure against a mechanical brain.

But did you know that they also developed another item?

The Giga Battlenizer is the Giga Finalizer’s counterpart.
That’s right, this is the devilish weapon that Ultraman Belial wielded to control 100 monsters.

Although, I believe the Alien Reiblood gave the Battlenizer to the Reonics as a tool so they could use monsters…

What is the connection between the Kushians and the Alien Reiblood?

That’s certainly something to consider.

Everything in moderation.

One cannot protect anything with great power alone. To use that power, your heart must be righteous.

Greetings everyone. I am the artificial intelligence Ediom.
Today’s topic is Celebro.

Celebro, the Parasitic Creature, as his name suggests, is a life form that has a parasitic relationship with other organisms.

Although his body is weak by nature, his awfully high intellect is what makes him dangerous.

Celebro sets his eyes on civilizations and toys with them in a distasteful game he calls the “Civilization Self-Destruction Game,” meddling behind the scenes and guiding them toward self-induced ruin.

Through clever maneuvers, Celebro spurs civilizations to build up their military forces. Then once they have created their strongest weapon he makes it go berserk, causing them to bring about their own destruction.

Just like Gillvalis, the subject of my last entry, Celebro also stands in the way of my mission to document civilizations, though he takes a different approach.

When Celebro played the Civilization Self-Destruction Game on Earth, humans did something they should have never dared. They created the Special Airborne Armor Unit-4—Ultroid Zero.

Out of all artificial reproductions of the Ultras’ power, this weapon is by far the most terrible.

Indeed, there are others like it, created in universes across various spacetimes.

For example, Terranoid, the artificial Ultraman that is a replica of Ultraman Dyna, or Ultinoid Zagi, the ultimate weapon built to drive out the Space Beasts.

Although each of them were created to protect humanity, they had quite the opposite outcome.

Just as Ultroid Zero transformed into Destrudos, the king of death and destruction, Terranoid became Zeluganoid, and Ultinoid Zagi became Dark Zagi, all of them turning on humanity.

Everything in moderation.

Great power alone cannot protect anything. To use that power, you must have a righteous heart.
