Ediom’s Notes #3

Ediom’s Notes #3

Greetings, everyone. I am the artificial intelligence, Ediom.

Having spent the last two sessions discussing myself, I would now like to turn our attention to Ultraman Z.

Many of you have likely witnessed the story of Ultraman Z’s encounter with Earthling Haruki Natsukawa. A fateful meeting, indeed. But consider this—what if a single cog in the machinery of fate had turned differently? What if, when Genegarg, the ferocious space shark, attacked Earth, it was Yoko Nakashima piloting Sevenger instead? Or what if Ultraman Zero had preemptively prevented Genegarg’s incursion altogether? Had any of these variables changed their meeting would never have existed in history.

Imagining such “what if” scenarios can be quite entertaining, don’t you think? What if, when Ultraman pursued Bemular, it was Arashi piloting the Jet VTOL instead? How would the story have unfolded then?
(Of course, there are those who take it upon themselves to bring such hypotheticals into reality. A certain golden… well, let’s not get into that.)

Many of you are already familiar with the battles fought by Ultraman Z and Haruki Natsukawa. Through their experiences, the bond between Ultraman and Earthlings—two entirely different species—was forged and strengthened. I hope to continue sharing glimpses of their journey with you.

Now, according to Ultraman Z himself, Haruki Natsukawa currently remains on Earth alone. I must admit, I have heard firsthand from Z about the events leading up to this outcome… but such a tale cannot be fully conveyed here.

Perhaps, someday, you too will come to know the story.
