In this week’s ULTRAMAN BLAZAR Episode 3 “The Name is Earth Garon,” Blazar withstood the heat in a battle against the million-degree-energy-guzzler, Taganular, but our favorite new Ultra wasn’t the only one! We can’t forget the SKaRD team and their mecha-accomplice, Earth Garon, also faced the bug-Kaiju. Don’t worry Emi, we won’t let you go unnoticed!
It would’ve been cool to see Earth Garon score the win for the whole team the first time out of the gate, it was even cooler to build up the anticipation of his capability. We got to know how he fights and what makes him so unique.

But Earth Garon wouldn’t be anything without his trusty team. The realistic moments of banter and self-organization that unfold amongst the SKaRD team just get better and better with time. This team is notably down to Earth and the energy of the characters is so well balanced that we can’t help but appreciate the dynamic every chance we get.

Once again Gento proves to be the oil that keeps the SKaRD machine running. Between validating members’ contributions, maintaining composure, and now, leaning into his bond with Blazar, Gento is truly becoming a fan-fav.

Tarangula was giving too hot to handle this episode, scorching Blazar with every touch. Unfortunate for our yowling man, but very fun for us viewers who got to hear some new Blazar grunts- Although these far less “RRWHAAAAA” and way more “Ah-tcchh!” with even a couple of “HOT”s.
