Fans React to Ultraman Live 2025

Just a few weeks ago, Ultraman Live swept through the east coast of the United States, scooping up thousands of new friends along the way! Between his visits to Times Square, Japan Society, Akiba House, and American Dream, Ultraman got to meet a wide range of lifelong tokusatsu-enjoyers and even managed to turn some passersby into all new Ultrafans.

The event-packed week was complete with fourteen live shows, the Kaiju Stampede, the Ultra Walk, countless meetups with fan-favorite characters, and even a delicious signature meal partnership with Kyuramen.

Ultraman Omega joined forces with Ultraman and Ultraman Zero to protect American Dream from the influx of Kaiju, driven to mass destruction under Belial’s command.

Luckily, American Dream was filled with brave civilians, whose hearts were full of appreciation to super-charge our heroes with love and save the day.

Although sometimes we need a little grit to get by too…

Some friends even made reoccurring appearances!

And of course, it is only fair to reward your love with freebies.

Ultraman Card Game demos unfolded in the sidelines between events and new collections were started. Some attendees were card artists themselves like Klenda V, John Belloti Jr., Jamie Noguchi, and Chrysoula Artemis. Did you catch any of them in the crowd?

Meanwhile, Bandai Namco supplied a number of exclusive Japanese imports such as DX Omega Slugger from Ultraman Omega, 6” Bandai figures, and state of the art S.H.Figuarts Ultraman and Kaiju figures. Even being surrounded by luxury stores, the Bandai booth truly felt like the heart of American Dream, with crowds of eager Ultrafans chirping amongst themselves in line for collectibles.

The meet-and-greet lines weren’t any shorter, but even while waiting, fans caught some heartwarming moments.

There was a little old lady at the Dada photo op at Ultraman Live wearing a Dada shirt and holding Dada figures and she was so happy to meet Dada and the announcer called her the world's biggest Dada fan and everybody cheered 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Some trends even emerged, taking Kaiju out of their comfort zones!

As much as he appreciated those who waited patiently, Ultraman had a soft spot for the little ones who didn’t get a chance to meet him formally.

The Japan Society live show offered a more theatrical experience with an enclosed stage, complete with a lightshow, but that didn’t stop the fans from making it their own.

And we’re all eternally grateful for those of you who took the flight out to the east coast and met Ultraman in the middle. At least New York and New Jersey aren’t as far away as Japan!

We can’t stop thinking about the passion that mobilized Ultraman Live and brought our heroes all the way to America.

We hope to see you all again soon just as much as you do, so keep channeling your energy towards Ultraman and let’s bring even more Ultra-fun into 2026!
