Director Shannon Tindle (@ShannonTindle_1) has officially Tweeted that the upcoming animated Ultraman movie has been included in the 2024 Netflix slate announcement!
The film is CG-animated and according to Tindle is already 90% complete thanks to the combined effort of Tsuburaya Productions, Industrial Light & Magic, and directors Shannon Tindle (Coraline, Kubo & the Two Strings, Megamind) and John Aoshima (Gravity Falls, Avatar: The Last Airbender, DuckTales), who can be found on Twitter at @JohnAoshima.
Netflix Geeked (@NetflixGeeked) released a plot synopsis and it’s clear this is gonna be a game changer: After making his name as a worldwide baseball legend, Ken Sato returns to his home country of Japan to assume the role of humanity’s greatest ally and protector, Ultraman. However, his mission takes an unexpected turn when he is forced to parent a newborn Kaiju!
