Only five days until the premiere of Ultraman Blazar! On July 7th at 8 PM EST, giant Kaiju will wage war upon Earth. To combat these giant monsters, the Special Kaiju Reaction Detachment, aka SKaRD, is ready to fight back with skill and powerful weaponry, including the might Earth Garon! And when even Earth Garon is not enough, the mysterious giant, Ultraman Blazar appears! We’re taking a look at some of these new Kaiju foes, and today we’re going to introduce you to one of the biggest, Taganular!
At 60 meters tall and 50,000 tons in weight, Taganular outweighs most of the prior threats that SKaRD has faced. An insectoid creature that feeds on the experimental fuel known as Teaterium, Taganular is a Kaiju that emerges from the ground to collect the rare substance wherever it is stored in large amounts. Unfortunately, the only place that Teaterium collects in that amount is in human possession, and thus, Taganular has been raiding bases across the planet. Worse yet, the more Taganular eats, the closer to a catastrophic reaction the Teaterium gets…
