GUTS member Daigo Madoka touches one of the giant stones and connects to the ancient lost souls within. As his GUTS Wing 1 is shot down in his attempt to stop Golza and Melba, Ultraman Tiga merges with him, and the ancient giant revives.

In 2038, Daigo’s son slips through time while training with Neo Super GUTS and is joined by Jomonoid. Episode number twenty-seven ‘I Saw Obiko!’ begins in an upbeat and humorous way, but in subject matter, grapple with topics like deforestation, overpopulation, expansion, and the melancholy passing of time.

In the legendary Episode forty-nine Star of Ultra. An odd man makes his way to Tsuburaya Productions with the hopes of purchasing a monster from none other than Eiji Tsuburaya himself. This meta episode is both a love letter to the fans and to the entire Ultraman franchise. With many callbacks to the production of the original series, the episode reaches its climax with the appearance of the original Ultraman and his beautiful interaction with Eiji Tsuburaya. Tiga and Ultraman come face to face, and their handshake becomes one of the most iconic moments in the series.

Ultraman Tiga is universally acclaimed for its importance to the Tokusatsu genre.
