We’re less than a month out from the release of the first two starter decks for the new Ultraman Card Game! SD01-Heroes of Hyper Space and SD02-The Bonds of Zero will introduce fans to a whole new way to celebrate the legacy of the Giant of Light. Today, we’ll get into what the game actually is, and a brief explanation on gameplay!
The Ultraman Card Game is a two-player trading card game where you clash with an opponent, using cards depicting Ultra Heroes and Kaiju, in depictions of some of the greatest moments across the almost six decades of Ultraman Series history. Your characters will clash against one another across multiple battle zones, hoping to take three zones in a single turn to win.
Victory is achieved not through destroying your opponent — instead, as befitting Ultraman, success comes from uplifting yourself and the characters at your command! Higher BP will win the battle, but losing a clash isn’t the end of your journey — Your characters stay on the field, ready to prove themselves on the next turn!
Shared turns encourage real-time strategizing, and lightning-fast gameplay ensures that even the toughest matches won’t drag on! With a design team composed of legendary veterans in the TCG space, the stage is set for a gameplay experience truly worthy of Ultraman’s legacy.
