Jade City Foods recently unveiled a line of Ultraman branded hot sauces and coffees, each boasting terrific vintage-style images of our favorite Giants of Light, Kaiju, and aliens. The products went on sale a few days ago on the company’s dedicated web site, Ultraman Foods. Deal was brokered by The Licensing Group on behalf of Tsuburaya Productions.

If you’ve already heard of Jade City Foods, you’re probably really cool, but if you’re anything like me and this is the first you’re hearing of them, you’re in for a treat! Jade City Foods is a relatively new company, but reviews for their products are already out of this world. With over 30 licensed products from sports teams to entertainment properties, Jade City Foods are known for their hot sauces, salsas, and coffee. Now, Jade City Foods is releasing some Ultraman-themed goodies and we cannot wait to get our hands on them!

Ultraman Connection got a chance to speak with Cliff Wiener, who co-founded Jade City Foods with his partner, Alex Kenny, and he told us all about this Ultra-hot release: Three Ultraman themed coffee roasts, and five Ultraman themed hot sauce flavors. I don’t know about you, but I’m already making room in my pantry.

“We make fresh food on a small batch level for properties we love,” Cliff says. “We’re fans of all of the intellectual properties we work with. We want superfans to try the product and to be satisfied with how we chose to represent their favorite characters. Almost like they made it themselves!”

While this is their first Ultraman hot sauce and coffee line, they plan to continue releasing more. Each hot sauce series will feature an Ultra flavor as the centerpiece and include four additional Kaiju flavors.

“Every Kaiju has their own personality, so working on this series, I wanted the flavors to line up with the kind of character they are.”

The flavors in Series 1 include Ultraman’s Spacium Beam 7 Pot Primo Sauce, Jirass’ Nikaido’s Beast: Mango & Pineapple Scotch Bonnet Sauce, Pigmon’s Balloon Bomb: Cracked Red Pepper and Cayenne Sauce, Alien Baltan’s Alien Invader: Green Habanero Sauce, and Red King’s Lawless Monster: Scotch Bonnet and Yellow Ghost Pepper Sauce.

Our mouths are watering. I am ready to go through some serious pain if that’s what it takes to gulp these bottles down. Even the retro graphics and bottle design are enough to convince me to buy the whole set. The best part? Jade City Foods doesn’t repeat flavors, so all of these, and all the ones to come are completely one-of-a-kind. Flavors run along a grade-scale of hotness, so you can choose according to your palette.

“Red King is my personal favorite, but Ultraman is the coolest character so of course he has to have the hottest sauce!”

If hot sauce isn’t your thing, not to worry, Cliff and Alex got you covered with their set of Ultraman coffee beans. There’s the Monster Graveyard: Dark Roast Coffee, the Super Deformed: Medium Roast Coffee, and the M78 Land of Light: Light Roast Coffee. All of which are made with responsibly, ethically, and sustainably sourced 100% Arabica beans.

Each kind of coffee is available in $20 single bags, $50 for the whole set, and even offer a subscription feature so you never run out of your favorite blend. The hot sauces are also available in single 5-ounce bottles for $18 each, or in the 5-piece set for $75. These sound like the perfect holiday gift for any Ultraman fan!

Jade City Foods is honoring Ultraman in the most delicious way possible and now you can too. All these items and plenty more are available now on their Ultraman Foods website. They assure us that there are more Ultraman products to come and possibly some deals in our future! Stay tuned here at UltramanConnection.com for updates.
