Seismic Announces Shin Ultraman Gomess Soft Vinyl Figure

From the immensely popular Shin Ultraman film by Evangelion mastermind Hideaki Anno and director Shinji Higuchi comes Gomess, from Seismic Toys’ Ultraman Vinyl Odyssey line! Standing at 9.5 inches / 24 cm tall, this premium Gomess collectible sports 5 points of articulation, a lush hand painted color scheme, and an extremely detailed sculpt by famed kaiju artist D0PEP0PE. Gomess famously uses a modified Shin Godzilla design and model, just like his first appearance in 1966's Ultra Q!

“Gomess represents a shift in our Ultraman Vinyl Odyssey line,” explains Seismic CCO Alex Rushdy. “With the expansion of our license to include the Shin Ultraman world and the opportunity to work with D0PEP0PE we are able to create a class of figure unlike what we released before. The detail is much higher on both the sculpt and the paint job and this is our first fully boxed figure. It has an incredible premium feel.”

Gomess ships this fall, with pre-sale now available for an MSRP of $159.99 USD + S&H. Orders can be placed directly through Seismic Toys (, as well as some of your favorite toy & collectible stores.

This iteration of the Gomess character first appeared in 2022’s Shin Ultraman, written by Hideaki Anno and directed by Shinji Higuchi. The film was a smash hit, becoming the highest grossing Ultraman film in the franchise’s near 60-year history. Shin Ultraman is available on blu-ray from Raven Banner Entertainment and Cleopatra Entertainment.
